Thank you for choosing ATE, A Taste of Eggcellence, for all of your catering needs. We work diligently to provide quality service and experiences for all of our customers. We offer custom catering which includes grazing displays, private dinner parties, and food trailer menus. Our mission is to prepare and serve tasty, home cooked, locally sourced foods for our clients and help make each special occasion easier for the host, and more enjoyable for everyone.
My name is Kelli, and I am the owner and operator. My business base is nestled in the picturesque Sweet Springs Valley of Monroe County WV. Our convenient location allows us to serve a very large area in Southern WV and Southwest VA. We are licensed and insured in both VA and WV and provide services to clientele in multiple counties. My husband and I began operation in 2019. Since our start we have grown and expanded at an impressive rate. ATE is unique and more customer oriented than other catering businesses in our area. With our custom-built food trailer, we are a complete mobile kitchen which gives us the ability to travel to your event and provide a fine dining experience or "street food" experience (should you choose that service). Having our mobile unit gives us the ability to provide top notch services. ATE also bakes and creates scratch made breads, pies, cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts to our customers individually as well as multiple wholesale locations in the Greenbrier Valley area. We are proud to carry on the Appalachian tradition of Salt Rising bread as well as the WV tradition of pepperoni rolls. We also offer artisan style sourdough loaves and boules. My cooking and baking have often been described as southern comfort style just like your grandmother cooked for family dinner on Sunday. I source fresh ingredients and supplies whenever possible from local farmers, meat markets, and produce markets. I am an advocate for supporting local small businesses and impacting my community by keeping my dollars local.
